We believe in intentional collecting, purposeful giving, and lasting impact.
Meet Kimberly
Kimberly Pirtle is the founder of Gabriel Advisory Group, a strategic advisory practice at the intersection of fine art and philanthropy.
Before founding Gabriel Advisory, Kimberly worked within Sotheby's Collectors Group, advising collectors on acquisition, collection management, and the long-term stewardship of their holdings. As one of Sotheby's auctioneers, she also worked directly with museums, foundations, nonprofits, and cultural institutions across the country, raising more than $50 million through benefit auctions for organizations like the Gordon Parks Foundation, American Ballet Theatre, and The Bronx Museum.
Gabriel Advisory Group was founded on the belief that art and generosity draw from the same well and that the collectors, museums, foundations, and organizations navigating both deserve counsel that was built for exactly that.
What Sets Us Apart
A Unified Perspective
Art advisory and philanthropic strategy are not the same discipline. But for the collectors and institutions Gabriel Advisory serves, they belong to the same world. Our offering is built to work across both with a single, coherent perspective.
Market Access, Honestly Applied
With deep relationships across galleries, auction houses, and institutions, Gabriel Advisory provides guidance that is direct, informed and grounded in the mission of the collection.
Strategy Behind the Gift
Philanthropic strategy at Gabriel Advisory extends well beyond the event. Our firm works with clients and organizations on the full arc of giving, from donor engagement and campaign design to the cultural legacy they want to build over time.
